Camille Henrot was born in Paris in 1978 and now lives in New York.
The French artist is specialised in the realisation of installations with sculptures, videos, drawings, and assemblage. With her artistic production, Camille Henrot builds a bridge across the rituals of our time, the mythical knowledge, and the systematisation of knowledge. Starting from familiar things, the French artist is able to create imaginary worlds which almost seems to be alien.
In her career, Henrot has presented various individual exhibitions in New York, Berlin, Paris and was awarded many prizes, becoming one of the most important artists in the contemporary international scene.
Fonderia Nolana has collaborated closely with Henrot since 2015 to realise her projects exhibited at important venues, such as Fondazione Memmo in Rome and Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
