Exhibition Airport of Naples
The installation “Archeologica” is a project conceived in March 2017 with the display of originals and reproductions of the artefacts of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples at the Airport of Capodichino (Naples).
The aim of this project for the International Airport of Naples is promoting the great archaeological heritage of the region and showing tourists leaving from Naples what are the beauties preserved in the Archaeological Museum.
Fonderia Nolana curated the entire artistic installation at the Airport of Naples and the whole management of the project. The artistic workshop realised the works starting from the original model with a 3D scanning system and employed 80 kg/m3 polyurethane milling systems. Surfaces were then retouched with the support of photos, while the works were realised using fusion techniques of lost-wax casting and resin casting.
