Patrick Alò
Patrick Alò was born in Rome in 1975, from an Hungarian-Lebanese mother and an Italian father.
Alò’s sculptures combine classical themes and contemporary art techniques: his works are created using recycled scrap metal and other waste materials, skilfully amalgamated. With an eye towards antiquity and Greek mythology, for his works the artist uses modern techniques, assembling and melting scrap iron.
His works display evocative shapes and depict mythological characters and fantastic creatures.
Fonderia Nolana has collaborated with Patrick Alò for the realisation of the “Legacy Piece”, the first public work installed along the Water Canal in Dubai, one of the greatest contemporary architectural works.
